Case Study
Totangi Properties chose SoilFLO over paper tickets for their fill site operations.
Challenge
Totangi needed a scalable process to track all incoming loads to their fill site in order to minimize repetitive admin tasks and ensure compliance with provincial thresholds.
Solution
They implemented SoilFLO to create environmental approvals and digitize load tracking. Additionally, they used SoilFLO’s financial tools to generate invoices directly.
Outcome
Eliminated hours of manual data entry weekly through digital load tracking.
No more searching through email threads. All documents are stored in SoilFLO.
Saved 10 hours a week by creating invoices with SoilFLO’s built-in invoice generator.

About Totangi Properties
Company: Totangi Properties is a locally owned and operated land management and property development company.
Project: Operating a bulk import fill site.
Location: Vancouver Island, BC, Canada
The Story
Totangi Properties, a development and property management firm, operates a bulk import fill site on Vancouver Island. Faced with large load volumes and provincial environmental regulations, the company wanted to implement a reliable, scalable way to manage incoming materials, track approvals, and ensure environmental due diligence—without the inefficiencies of paper-based tracking.
Before starting import operations, Totangi evaluated their options between traditional paper tickets and digital tracking systems. SoilFLO was implemented with two-way visibility with source sites, and the ability to centralize records and provide visibility to all stakeholders. Environmental consultant Waypoint Environmental supported the use of SoilFLO to ensure regulatory compliance from day one.
The Solution
Once SoilFLO was up and running at the fill site, all load data was captured in the field and stored in the platform. This resulted in time saved in the office, eliminating the need to enter data manually into spreadsheets, and provided all stakeholders with real-time visibility into all material movements.
